$15 tires are all inspected and healthy, ready to mount and ride. Wear present in some cases, all are deemed worthy to live on and ride another day. In the used bicycle world, a matching pair of tires is a lovely thing, so tires with a mate are listed and sold as pairs for $30 (two tires for $15 each, sold as a set).
