A classic made-in-Japan Schwinn has been reimagined into a vintage town commuter, queued up for a good jaunt around the city in style. Made in Japan frameset oozes quality and style. Upright style provided by the bar/stem combo, cruising in sporty comfort with 12 speeds total, courtesy of Suntour XC Expert thumb shifters, retro friction front and indexed rear, pulling new cables and housings routed to Suntour rear and Shimano 600 front derailleurs, plus Shimano 600 double cranks, finishing off the drivetrain with chrome mounting bolts and a new chain. Rolling on 700c Wolber rims laced to Shimano hubs, wrapped in new 35mm Panaracer Pasela gumwall tires. Large Shimano brake levers pulling Shimano 600 caliper brakes to provide stopping power.
