A classic made-in-France PX-10 has been rebuilt into a vintage townie, queued up for a good jaunt around the city in style. Forged Simplex dropouts and Reynolds 531 frame tubes give the PX-10 the ride qualities it is known for. If you're just now becoming familiar, the PX-10 was the creme of the crop! This Peugeot is ready for tooling about town; French Pivo stem with a riser aluminum handlebar, wrapped in custom grip tape. Brooks hand-hammered leather saddle above a Simplex seatpost. 10 speeds total, courtesy of Stronglight double cranks and a 5 speed freewheel in the rear, shifting with Suntour retro-friction thumb shifters and Simplex rear derailleur. Rolling on 700c Mavic rims with a Campagnolo Record hubs, wrapped in new 35mm Pabnaracer Pasela tires. Large Dia-Compe levers pulling famous Mafac Racer center-pull brakes provide stopping power. Completely tuned and ready for a round out on the roads.
