Freshly-created, re-imagined, and re-manufactured, built with a combination of new, refurbished, and refinished materials! This revisioned VolksCycle Mark 100 road bike has been powder coated clear for sparkling good looks! Fully rebuilt from the ground up. Perfect for leisurely rides around town or going down to the store. Frame and fork are constructed of high quality Cro-Mo steel for durability. Originally came equipped with drop bars, we swapped out to an upright set-up with a T-Bone stem and aluminum riser bars for a comfortable riding position. The ten gears are controlled by beefy, indexed Suntour thumb shifter/lever combos mounted for ease of use. Classy Shimano 600 double cranks and Suntour derailleurs provide for a solid drivetrain. Suntour Superbe caliper brakes make quick stops. Rolling stock consists of Campy Record hubs laced to 27" Super Champion Competition rims, wrapped in new Panaracer Pasela road tires. Features new white cable housings, SRAM grips and saddle! A fantastic bike to get you into general riding, commuting to work or strolling down to the 4th street watering hole.
