Where do we begin with this highly capable, well crafted, custom one-of-a-kind bicycle? Let's start with a super high quality, made in Walnut Creek, CA, USA Rivendell Simple One frameset. Keeping things even more local, the frame was taken to SyCip Designs in Santa Rosa where it was professionally modified by the man himself to accomodate a 135mm spaced rear wheel, plus the addition of a derailleur hanger and all appropriate shifter cable routing & stops. Then clear coated to give an amazing finish, showing off the lugs & brazing in a beautiful way. The parts build is no less amazing. Equipped with Shimano 105 integrated shifter levers, Shimano 105 front & rear derailleurs, & an 11 speed 11-32T Ultegra cassette! Shimano cranks keep with the 105 theme, with 50-34T Shimano 105 chainrings. The list continues with powerful Paul Components cantilever breaks, Chris King rasta headset, & White Industries hubs laced to Mavic A719 rims, wrapped in 40c Kenda Happy Medium tires. Topping it all off with a Brooks Colt saddle, Nitto noodle bars, lugged Nitto stem, & matching lugged Nitto seatpost, this bike is the real deal. Having only been lightly ridden, this custom Rivendell retains its beauty is ready to see some serious rides! Great for cyclocross or touring, with multiple braze-ons & mounting points on the frame & fork for the addition of racks & fenders! 56cm frame center to top of top tube, 55cm center to center with a 56cm top tube & 32.5" standover height, this bike should fit riders around 5'11" to 6'2".
