Built with sturdy butted steel frame tubes and outfitted with two sets of Truvative Elita cranks, the rear set having triple rings for a wide gear range. Shimano Ultegra shifter levers routed to Ultegra front and rear derailleurs, with a long cage in back to account for triple crank gear ranges. It also sports powerful road disc brakes with large 203mm rotors front and rear to bring two riders to a hault, a DT Swiss/Velocity tandem wheelset wrapped in dependable Continental Gatorskin tires. Telescoping seatpost in back lets this tandem fit a wide range of riders. This is a solid ride that just needs a new pair of riders to take her out on the bay area roads. The Captain size rides like a 56cm and should fit riders from about 5'8" to 6'0" while the Stoker rides like a 50cm and it's intended to fit riders from 4'11" to 5'6" with the adjustable seatpost and stoker stem.
