This classic Trek 1000 road bike was built with lightweight aluminum frame tubes right here in the USA, paired up with a steel fork for strength while smoothing out the ride. Shimano 600 indexed downtube shifters & Dia-Compe brakes, with a Shimano Deore DX rear derailleur, Suntour Cyclone in the front. Sakae SX double cranks with 6 cogs out back. Matrix rims, classic on any Trek bicycle, & topped off with a new saddle, cables, housing, & bar tape. A great bike for road rides, for exercise or pleasure. Size is 55cm, & should fit riders around 5'8" to 5'11".
