Wow, folks, it doesn't get much cooler than this (subjectively)! A Raleigh Tourist, made in England, and looking like it wasn't that long ago, either! Amazing as-is condition, the Tourist was well-stored, and is fully original in every way, other than the thorn-resistant tubes which we're sure you will appreciate when flat-change time inevitably comes around the corner. Robust steel frame and fork, with an encased drivetrain sporting original cottered cranks and chainring, with the well respected Sturmey Archer hub and shifter pulling 3 speed duty. Possibly the coolest and most noticeable aspect of the Tourist are the rod brakes, a unique and classic linkage braking system which looks as cool as it operates. Topped off with the original Brooks B66 sprung saddle, Raleigh grips, and Raleigh tires. It even has it's original frame-mounted pump! Being sold as-is, the Tourist could be considered a "project" to restore, but is totally ridable in it's current state. Fresh tubes and a safety bolt check has this classic raleigh rolling, pedaling, shifting, and braking. Condition must be seen to be believed!

Measuring 22" center of crank to the top of top tube, and rides like a big 56cm with a slack head tube angle.
