A vintage GT Avalanche ATB mountain bike tuned and ready for mashing around town, exploring single track, or cruising around with the family. Featuring a top of the line Tange Prestige butted Cr-Mo tube set and Cr-Mo fork blades. Vertical forged dropouts in the rear and Spinner dropouts up front. Shimano Deore 7 speed index thumb shifters, Shimano Deore rear derailleur, Shimano Derore cantilever brake up front, and Shimano Deore II U-brake in the rear. Deore 110 bcd cranks with 48/36 rings, period correct GT riser stem with Salsa Motoace swept back bars. Very comfy! Professionally dialed in and set up for duty. New chain, new lizard skin grips, new cables and housing. A fair amount of surface scratches but no dents or damage.New ergonomic grips Soma saddle, and plump brand new CST Metropolitan 26 x 2.25" tires.
