A top of the line Schwinn High Sierra all terrain bike in outstanding condition. Tri-caliber butted 4130 chromoly frame tubes and fork blades, forged dropouts front and rear with double threaded eyelets and low rider mounts on the fork. Mostly original period correct parts throughout. Classic Sugeno GT 110 BCD crank arms with 48/38 chain rings, Suntour XC Bear-trap Pedals, original Suntour Mountech front and rear derailleurs, Suntour retro friction thumb shifters, Dia-compe three finger brake levers, and classic Dia-compe 980 cantilever brakes. A bomber wheelset featuring first generation Shimano Deore XT hubs laced to Araya 26" aluminum rims, and three cross stainless steel spokes. Brand new Continental Ride City 26x1.75 tires, new chain, and new chain cables and housing.
