A shiny, brilliant blue Specialized Stumpjumper has just rolled into the shop, has been completely tuned and is ready to hit the streets again! Constructed in America with Specialized's proprietary M2 X-butted Metal Matrix aluminum tubing, this exceptionally lightweight Specialized Stumpjumper was converted to a 1X9 drivetrain to make shifting ultra simple. A single 9-speed Deore LX trigger shifter is mated to a Hyperdrive rear cassette and beefy Truvativ alloy crankset, and gear changes are performed by a super-clean Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur. Stops are provided by powerful Avid V-brakes and rolling stock consists of a stout Bontrager 26" wheelset, wrapped in Forte Pisgah off-road tires. This is one of the very few 'Made-in-America' Specialized bikes out there, and was quite high-end for it's time. Would make a capable and lightweight mountain beast, but can also cruise down to the neighborhood corner store just as well. 19" frame fits riders from 5'8" to 5'11".
