This Trek 970 has been built up as a city utility bike, functional for all types of riding! A great commuter, perfect for getting around town or bombing down the bike path. Frame is constructed of sturdy True Temper double butted cromoly tubes. Set up as a 1x with Shimano Deore LX cranks featuring a single chainring & a chainguard, with a Shimano Deore DX shifter moving through the 7 speeds out back with a Shimano Deore DX rear derailleur. Powerful Shimano SLR cantilever brakes, 26" aluminum quick release wheels with Matrix rims & Deore DX hubs, making this a great city ride for the occasional need to pop off a curb. With a Deore XT headset, riser stem & handlebar for comfort, & Avocet gumwall tires, plus new cables & housings. This small 18" should fit riders around 5'4" to 5'7".
