A Fox Alps 4 American-made rear suspension pulls shock duty in the rear, paired with a Rock Shox Judy XC suspension fork up front. Shimano Deore LX triple cranks & front derailleur, with a Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur, shifted through Shimano rapid fire shifters. Upgraded to powerful V-brakes from the cantilevers for more stopping power. Deore XT rear hub with Matrix rims for a solid wheelset. 17" frame should fit riders around 5'5" to 5'8".
