A coveted Eddy Merckx vintage road bike has been tuned & is ready for another ride or race! Lugged frame made in Belgium of Columbus SLX tubing & Campagnolo dropouts provides an amazing ride quality. This classic is set up with Campagnolo Super Record double cranks, Campagnolo Record quill pedals, chromed Campy crank arm mounting bolts, Campagnolo Super Record front & rear brake calipers with new cables & housings, actuated using Modolo brake levers & Campy hoods, with an ITM stem & Specialized handlebars wrapped in new handlebar tape. The classic component list continues with what some consider the best shifters in the game, Simplex retro-friction downtube shifters routed to a Campagnolo Super Record rear derailleur. Fluted Zeus post, San Marco Rolls saddle, new Vredestein Gran Fondo folding tires wrapped around 700c Mavic cartridge wheels. Campagnolo Nuovo Record headset, Super Record bottom bracket & quick release skewers, & a Regina CX freewheel bring this wicked awesome bicycle to the finish. 59cm frame center to center should fit riders from around 6'0" to 6'3".
