This Bianchi Professional is tuned & ready to hit the road once again. Made in Japan of double butted Ishiwata frame tubes & fork blades, providing an amazing ride. Equipped with Suntour downtube shifters, Suntour Superbe front & Suntour Cyclone rear derailleurs, Sugino Super Mighty double cranks, Dia-Compe MGC 400 brake calipers & Dia-Compe Gran Comp slotted brake levers. Rolling on Suntour Superbe hubs laced to Mavic 700c rims wrapped in new tires. Topped off with an aluminum Tange headset. New cables & housings, Bianchi saddle, & new bar tape. A classic lugged steel road bike that will provide you with years of reliable sport riding or long distance transportation. 56cm frame should fit cyclists from around 5'10" to 6'1". SO I have a Bianchi hoarding issue (OK?), with currently 6 upper-end Bianchi road bikes from the early to mid-1980s. I own two Japanese Bianchis, both the "Professional" model rigged exactly as this one but with the short-cage Suntour Superbe rear derailleur. I'm guessing Suntour did  not offer a long-cage 1st generation Superbe, though they did in the 2nd gen. Anyway all my bikes ride on identical Vittoria Rubino Pro tires wrapping Mavic Open Pro rims laced to Campy or (in this case) Suntour Superbe hubs. AS TO THE RIDE, YOU CANNOT FEEL ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE "PROFESSIONALS" AND THE SAME VINTAGE ITALIAN SUPERLEGGERAS! The Professionals are that good, truly dream-machines... for a fraction of the price. This example looks like a museum piece.
